The cottage was in a lovely village and ideal for our visit to my family in Heysham. I loved the cottage and the kids loved all of the toys. We especially enjoyed the views from the lounge and the open fire in the evening. We have never been disappointed with cottages from Sykes as they always have a high standard. In the future, we would like to stay here again. Many thanks.

The property was obviously well cared for, inside and out. The garden was very private and secure and suitable for a dog, which we were very happy about. The cottage was well situated, in a pleasant area, with parking for two cars. It was well placed for short journeys to sea or countryside. The village itself had interest and good walks from the door. Easy to access from the M6. We really enjoyed our stay at Ryburn. Thank you!

In a quiet location, but ideal for surrounding areas like the Lake District and Morcambe. The house was excellently equipped, clean and comfortable.
December 2009
We found it a much prettier area than expected. It was very close to the M6 so made touring simple. It was easy to go in all directions. We had never been to that part of Lancashire before and the scenery on the drive up to the South Lakes was stunning. Coming home in the evenings to a cosy bungalow was delightful. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone.
December 2009
The bungalow was easy to locate and instructions were clear. There was a welcome pack;very thoughtful. The accommodation was adequately furnished, comfortable and warm. Warton is a pleasant village,in an interesting area, with easy access to Silverdale, the RSPB reserve,Kendal and the South Lakes. We enjoyed our short break very much and would recommend this house and area to anyone who wishes to explore South Cumbria and North Lancashire.

December 2009
A really lovely property, we instantly felt at home in it. It seems more like a home than a holiday cottage and we felt like guests than holiday makers. The village is very quiet with only one shop which is only open limited hours - beware, but Carnforth with large supermarkets is only two miles away. It's a great place to get to - only 5 minutes from the M6 motorway but be aware that you have a 20-30 minute drive before reaching even the most southernmost of the lakes.
December 2009
Very pleasant bungalow, very peaceful and has a pub close by thats sells nice food. Friendly people. Recommended for that much sort respite from the daily stresses.
