We had a wonderful holiday. Had sunshine every day and not a gnat in sight. We had really good nights sleep, on a very quiet street. Everything in the kitchen worked.

A very spacious cottage with friendly and helpful owners. Off-road parking and local grocery store were within a minutes' walk or there were lots of larger stores within 5min drive. In a good central location as most places we visited were within an hour's drive.

The house was perfect for our family of five. Off street parking was a huge bonus. The train station is only 10 minutes walk. Had some great tips for where to eat and visit. Loved the cottage.

This really is a 'deceptively spacious' cottage which gave our party of six (4 young adults plus Mum and Dad) plenty of room to spread out. We much appreciated the big kitchen and separate dining-room, as well as the two sitting rooms. Well-located in Alloa, close to shops and public transport, this was an ideal base for a family holiday.
August 2015
Very nice, clean, comfortable house, in good central location. Our visit was to see family in the area, but it is a great central base for visitors who wish to travel around central Scotland.
Mr Knowles
July 2009
We had a wonderful time in Scotland, and Salruth Cottage was an excellent base to have, as it gave us the chance to visit quite a lot of Scotland from such a starting position. I don't think the write up or pictures do it justice!
January 2013
Stayed here during June, 2011 with family (2 small children). The cottage had everything we needed, and is ideally located for day trips to Stirling, Edinburgh, etc... The yard was a lovely place for the kids to relax and unwind before and after heading out each day.
