A very comfortable, clean and well equipped house.

The property is in an excellent location really close to the beach. It is very comfortable and well laid out. It had everything we wanted - including a completely enclosed garden, so my beagle could snuffle round without any chance of breakout attempts!

The house was great for a family, with plenty of bathrooms and seating. The kitchen was very well equipped. There was always hot water, and the house was warm and comfortable. Beadnell is a lovely village, and the shop is excellent for emergency supplies. It also does a book lending scheme free of charge! The Craster Arms was superb, quality food at reasonable cost.

The house was well equipped, very clean and 2 mins walk to the beach. Lovely enclosed garden for our small dog. Overall a great place to spend a week and I would recommend it to anyone. Hopefully will be back next year.

The cottage was very close to a wide and sandy beach, and everywhere was very dog friendly. The cottage was warm, well equipped and very comfortable. The garden was an enclosed lawned area with a table and bench chairs which catch the afternoon and early evening sun. There was easy access to the A1 and it was a good location for travelling to other areas of interest. Overall a great location for a very enjoyable holiday.

The house is very well equipped and very comfortable. When the weather was good, we made use of the garden and patio which is a real sun trap. The beach is very close by and perfect for walking on, which we did everyday. Seahouses is a few minutes away for shopping and Alnwick is a lovely day out especially if you include a visit to Barter Books for browsing and lunch. A very relaxing holiday and we will be back.

The location was amazing - literally a minute walk to beautiful beaches. The house was well equipped and comfortable. Best equipped kitchen with lovely big pans made cooking for 7 easy - we did not eat out at all as my son has a nut allergy so it is easier to cook ourselves which is often a struggle in rented holiday cottages but not here. The big fridge freezer was very useful. Lovely secure garden. Hope to come back next year as we had the best holiday ever.

Two minutes from the fabulous beach. Very warm and comfortable house, it had the best bed we have ever had in a rental. I would consider rebooking for another holiday. The area is brilliant, and the people were very friendly. Craster Arms provide a great meal, probably the best bit of cod that I had ever had, so big that I could not eat my chips which is a first.

Nice family house on an estate, very well located for beach, shop and pub. Noisy builders on the other side of the fence every day from 8am. We were not informed that any building work was going on.

The cottage is set in a brilliant position, only a minute away from the beach and has plenty of room for seven people plus dog. Lots of parking space and a nice garden.

From booking at the last minute to leaving at the last minute...it was great! With 3 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms and a good size sitting room this house is extremely well equipped. (We had 6 adults and a little dog.) We were on holiday and not as dad would say 'taking root', but you could easily 'take root' and live comfortably in the house as it is. The kitchen has more than enough pots and pans to cook, if that's your thing on holiday. We had some great meals altogether around the big table. We did move some pots etc into other cupboards to make room for our food, but as long as things are put back then we've never had a problem in other places. The house was always warm and there was plenty of hot water. Although the advert we booked through didn't say there were towels provided, there were and these were plentiful. The bedrooms seem a little small when having two single beds in but there was enough storage for all our things for a week. The garden was great for our boarder terrier, but the fence/hedge may be a little low for a larger dog, having said that, a responsible dog owner would be able to control their dog and stop it from jumping. Although I once spotted archie trying desperately to get through the hedge to the nearby rabbits --- he didn't have to wait long before they were in the garden!! The village is delightful, good handy shop that sells everything and even has a book loaning service, pubs that are unquestionably good for meals and within a comfortable walking distance. The Craster arms is excellent and good value. When in the area do visit Craster village and walk along the footpath towards the castle, its breath taking. Also take the beach route towards Low Newton and then back on the dune tops to Beadnell a great walk especially early doors and with a faithful companion!

The house was nicely decorated and furnished, it was very light and airy, also very clean. There was plenty of room for everyone round the table with everything we needed in the kitchen. Ample parking for our 3 cars. And a handy garage to store our bikes. The garden was completely enclosed which was great for our escape artist dogs. Some Of the beds were a little on the small side but comfortable. Good location for the Beach. Only downside for some might be the building site over the back garden fence where they are building new houses, which we would have appreciated being told about. But it turns out there was very little noise from at all when we were there, and the fence in the garden is high enough you can't see it from outside. Overall great location and comfortable house.
