Just 5 min drive past Castlegregory along the spit towards the Maharees is the blue flag beach, Sandy Bay which offers lots of fun activities for kids with snorkelling, surf lessons, dinghy sailing, kayaking, a sea trampolene, pedalo's and pony trekking at OConners. At the end of the spit there is waterworld dive centre and the seven hogs islands (littered with dive sites that have featured in National Geographic).
Just 10 minutes drive from the village into the woods of Glentenassig you are rewarded with the most spectacular lakes in the mountain. Curan lake has a wooden boardwalk all the way round that takes about 40 mins of a leisurely walk. The perfect Place for a picnic. Castlegregory is a 25 minutes drive from Tralee and Dingle.
Golflinks closeby and pitch and putt.
There is so much activity on the peninsula from high adrenaline activities like watersports, diving and climbing to the more realxed activities like painting, fishing and relaxed walks along the miles of deserted beaches.

POPPY LANE - New Property review
5.0The Dingle Peninsula is a really special place. Our cottage was perfect and right in the village. Everything was very clean and bedding and towels crisp and white as promised. The kids loved the courtyard and walking to the lake to fish. Castlegregory is very family friendly.
