Private access to beach within walking distance and choice of guests free swimming at leisure centre pool. We particularly enjoyed walking our dogs in the meadow.

A lovely quiet location not too far from the East Coast attractions. It was nice to have a pub and a swimming pool on site. The apartment was very clean and tidy as was the holiday village in general.

Liked how dog friendly it was. The distance from the apartment to the beach was very good and the distance from the apartment to the swimming pool pub/restaurant was excellent. It had a very relaxing atmosphere and friendly helpful staff.

The apartment was always lovely and warm, lovely and clean, just a fab' place to stay! Beach was only a 15 minute walk away, we were down there everyday as our dogs loved it! A perfect holiday if you want lovely long walks just from your doorstep! We would definitely recommend Seabreak and hopefully will be back later ourselves!

The kitchen was excellent and it was very useful having the facilities. The flat was a lot more spacious than expected which was a bonus. The flat screen television was great. The flat had an excellent heating system and we were always warm and cosy despite the really cold January weather. The bay is fabulous and in a really excellent location.

A great place to holiday. Better than expected, would go again. In a lovely quiet location near pool and leisure facilities, short walk to beach, wildflower meadow and lakes. Filey is a lovely town with good shopping, the setting was perfect. A lot of thought and planning has obviously gone into the buildings, very pleasing to the eye. All staff really pleasant and helpful.

Fantastic location pet friendly accommodation, fascinating characteristic properties which were totally different throughout the complex. Right on the beach which my dog could enjoy. Will definitely come back again and again. I have also added it to Facebook to show my 1800 friends what a fab place it is!

The on site facilities were excellent, they were extremely dog friendly, and there were many and varied places to walk on the complex itself. The complex was very clean, and made to resemble a village, and was very pretty.

A fantastic location. A very well kept property and grounds and very dog friendly. We enjoyed the free use of the swimming pool. Lovely pub, again dog friendly, and delicious food. Lovely walk to beach. We have already booked the same accommodation for next year.

The whole feel of the site and the property was lovely to get back to after a long hike. Good location for visiting the area. Didn't want to leave!
January 2014
The Bay is a great base for exploring the Yorkshire Coast. The walk to Filey along the beach was beautiful. The site was clean and regular security patrols meant we felt exceptionally safe. The apartment was great and the agents were really helpful (we had to call them back as there were no bin bags and they came straight away and even brought a small bottle of wine). Two slight niggles were the street light outside the bedroom window (the blackout blinds didn't stop it coming in) and the lack of walled area to let dogs out on a morning and evening. The kitchen was well equipped (could do with taking your own tin opener though) and the flat was always warm despite the bitter weather. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and having a dog friendly pub on the doorstep made it even better.
January 2014
Apartment at the bay was spacious ,very clean, well layed out all requirement met the down side for is was the ability to let two dogs out first thing in the morning and late at night without having a small wired of area, they had to be leashed and walked, plus the weather was dreadfull no one can do a lot about that ,a bonus was being able to walk dogs on the beach, good location for surrounding area, does need a shop on the estate, didn't go in the pool so cannot comment on that .
June 2013
We were met on arrival and shown around property even though we were late arriving, downstairs property, heating on, property warm and homely. Everything clean, and well equipped, especially loved the large bath, ideal for a relaxing soak. Peaceful site, but facilities available if you wanted, went to pub, and also used pool which was included in price, close to nice beach, lovely walk to Filey when tide was out, also walked opposite direction to Humanby.
July 2013
Ideal location for Filey. Accommodation excellent, clean and very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Short walk to the beach. Will be returning again next year. Great for dogs.

April 2013
The service by the local agent was superb, the apartment was everything it said in the brochure. We have stayed on this complex before and the amenities are first class, we know the local area well and there are plenty of places to see and enjoy. The weather was bitterly cold with snow but this didn't stop us from having long walks on the beaches in the area.
May 2013
We were welcomed on the site and shown around the apartment, had the site layout described to us and any questions we had were answered before the chap left us to settle in. The apartment was modern and comfortable. We looked forward to returning each evening! The location is great, just a few minutes walk through the site and you're straight on to the beach. A taxi from Filey town centre back to the apartment was only a few pounds, though we were on a walking break so only used a taxi once. The site has lots to do for those who want them. There is a nice pub that also serves meals, a chemist and then there's the leisure complex where you can swim, make use of the sauna and steam rooms as well as other water based activities for all ages. There are other outdoor activities to have a go at but we didn't. The apartment was the best bit overall as it was homely and welcoming. Only slight niggle was that the street light around the back shone straight in the bedroom on a night. We put a cover up in front of the patio doors and that solved it! This did not spoil our sleep or our break at all. The site would benefit from a small convenience store as it is generally self catering, the nearest is at the garage on the main road just outside the site.
March 2013
beautiful apartment compact but everything you needed was there, facilities were really good, pub on site did excellent food and very friendly, the swimming pool and sauna was brilliant. So close to so many facilities Brilliant location. For anyone who just needs a break from everything this place has got it. The apartment was very well equipped and even tho it did snow whilst we was there you could still reach the beach and it was a lovely walk on a cold brisk morning. Would we go back yes!!
