Alnmouth is a lovely quiet seaside village with basic yet adequate amenities. Some lovely homely pubs (The Sun Inn) and The Red Lion and not far from Seahouses (which we went to for Fish and Chips), and Holy Island which we visited.
Brilliant location, everything we needed was within walking distance otherwise including local post office and deli!
The Seaside Apartment was lovely and warm, clean, had plenty clean towels and kitchen equipment was well stocked - there was nothing that we did not have to provide us with a relaxing and successful holiday (plenty cleaning products, toilet rolls, etc)
Landlady Philippa was most helpful, left clear instructions and even a fruit loaf which was a lovely welcome!
The only constructive criticism we would give is the sofas were not comfortable and could do with cleaning (the odd mark on them) alongside with the carpets but this would not stop us from returning again or recommending this to friends/family.
Views from the master bedroom and living room were brilliant with only a walk of approximately 2 minutes to the beach which blew the cobwebs away!
Parking was not a problem which was reassuring so definitely one to return to
