It was our second visit to Silverdale, we love the cottage and the panoramic views of Morecambe Bay. The Conservatory was very well used after a day out and about, which was very relaxing.

We took advantage of the panoramic views from conservatory and spent some time there just relaxing. Loved the Juke Box and the cottage was comfy and very well placed for getting around the South Lake District. The Owner was very helpful, it was our second stay and would certainly recommend for a wonderful relaxing holiday. We shall return I am, sure.

The property was quirky but surprisingly roomy. It was in an excellent location, and the views from the conservatory and the two front bedrooms to the sea were lovely. The jukebox gave us a great choice of musical entertainment, took advantage of the good selection of videos and DVDs too. Had a very restful holiday and explored the local area.

The conservatory overlooking the sea was an ideal place to spend a relaxing evening - whilst listening to the jukebox in the lounge!

The cottage was in lovely setting, easy to find. It was very comfortable, and felt at home from the moment we walked into the cottage. The cottage was nice and clean. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a nice relaxing time. All aspects of the holiday were good, nothing at all to complain about.

Loved the place, will definitely book again but for a full week, as 3 days is not enough.

The property was comfortable and suited our needs perfectly (my mother is disabled). We enjoyed just sitting in the conservatory looking at the wonderful view across Morecambe Bay. The view from the dining area was great too! We found access to the Lakes very quick and easy, even the weather was great. I would highly recommend Silverdale. This was our 2nd stay we'll be back!

Cottage is a very good base for the Lake District and surrounding areas, nice to come back to. Very tidy and well kept, well equipped kitchen. Wonderful views to front and back. The children loved the little pond on the patio, the horses next door, the sheep and cows in the back field and that we had a beach over the road.

This property was certainly quirky, giving it a certain amount of charm. However, we were glad to leave. It is advertised as three bedrooms but two of the bedrooms were only separated by a bathroom and no door so unsure why it is classed as 3 bedrooms. Making meals proved to be a challenge due to lack of kitchen equipment such as a roasting tin. Crockery was very mismatched and glassware a little sparse. On arrival there is a note on door saying heating not to be used in summer months, although technically summer temperatures were single figures and it was expensive using electric heaters. On a positive jukes boxes were groovy and good selection of music and views were amazing. Hot tap in bathroom not working.

we liked to sit in the conservatory and watch the tide coming in, a place where you could take your shoes off, sit down and relax.loved the juke box, beds were comfortable, kitchen was functional, sitting room nice and cosy. the only downsides were the small shower room only had a curtain not a door, and we felt the electric charge was a little steep as to keep warm for the weekend cost us quite a lot with it being spring. close enough to the shops, but far enough away for peace and quiet. we were made very welcome by the owner, he was very nice on the phone and had left us tea, coffee etc. a lovely place to stay, would definately recommend it.

A very good selection of leaflets and information was available at the bungalow. The views from the cottage of Morecambe Bay the surrounding countryside were lovely.
