Stayed here for 4 nights with my husband and dog. The owner was very pleasant and met us at the cottage and explained everything and gave us information about happenings in the area.
We found the cottage to be well decorated, it looks new, well stocked with equipment in the kitchen which all worked well. All was comfy and pleasant.
All rooms are downstairs except the actual bedroom. This was comfy and there were plenty of towels and pillows provided. The bathroom is downstairs and was new and clean with a nice big shower.
Place very dog friendly, with large lawned back yard and the owner provided dog bowls, towel, poo bags and some biscuits. Lovely to see.
The only disappointment was that the cottage is on the main road of the village, so although the village is small and quiet all traffic goes past your front door. I wish this was advertised for all cottages, because if you are not used to being so close to the road it can be off putting. There is also no parking, we parked across the road on a side street which although safe, isn't perfect.
There is no shop in the village but the pub is 2 doors down and provides a good feed on Friday - Sundays. If not you need to drive about 5 miles to Forth.
There is no wifi although we bought 5 days use of BT which worked ok at most times. Phone coverage is also a bit iffy.
