The prestigious Mylor Yacht Harbour is just a short drive with yacht club, bistro and a waterside restaurant and café. Public jetty/slipway, mooring facilities and chandlery are available. The busy port and town of Falmouth is just a 15-minute drive and provides a wide choice of restaurants, bars, cafés, art galleries, shops, cinema, bowling and museums, including the National Maritime Museum. Discover Events Square, home to numerous major high profile sailing and food festivals throughout the season. Take a water taxi from Mylor direct to Falmouth or one of the small ferries operating between Falmouth, St Mawes, Flushing and the Helford River. The area boasts some of Cornwall’s finest beaches, coves and many glorious creeks to explore on foot or by boat. It is a gardener’s haven with numerous sub-tropical gardens open to the public including Trebah, Glendurgan and Trelissick, all just a short distance. Take the car ferry over to the beautiful Roseland Peninsula and visit English Heritage sites such as St Mawes Castle, adjacent to Pendennis Castle, located on the Falmouth headland.
