The flat was lovely with great views of the Abbey from the kitchen window and a short but steep walk to the beach. The flat is kitted out well; the beds are really comfy and there was everything we needed. Parking was easier than expected, we always found a space on the nearby streets. Would definitely return. A good location and a really pleasant stay.

A lovely apartment. The location is great - really near the cliff lift for the beach and not far from the main town. The apartment is comfy with lots of extras, and great views from the side bay window of the sea and the kitchen had views of the abbey ruins. The cottage has lots of storage space so we didn't feel cramped, and the car park is really near. A real home from home, we would highly recommend.

Stanton House Apartment was well located for the many attractions on offer at Whitby. It was spacious and our party had plenty of room. It was easily heated; this was important as the weather was not springlike.

In a great location, very close to the beach and town. A bright and spacious, well equipped apartment. A lovely place to stay, we enjoyed lots of walks on the beach and the local pubs.

The apartment was awesome. We stayed here with my sister, her partner and 2 daughters and it was just perfect. It was large enough so we didn't feel like we were in each others pockets but cosy too. The girls loved the big living room windows as you could see the sea, and the bathroom was fantastic. I recommend this property to anyone visiting Whitby as they won't be disappointed; we are looking to book again for next year!

A very well decorated large apartment in a great location in Whitby. It was a bonus to have a car parking space near by. The apartment lived up to it's description and it was lovely to come back to for the evening, we only ate out twice preferring to come back and relax and sit in the lovely bay window.

The location of the apartment was brilliant. Minutes from the sea and minutes from the town centre. Lots of games as well. Apartment was light and cosy. Whitby itself is a great town with lots to do, coastal walks and plenty of history to explore.

We spent a gerat week in this lovely apartment with my husband and 2 young children. The apartment is spacious ( with a good amount of storage space) with great facilities. DVD.s and games made the children feel at home, and the beds were very comfy. Lovely bathroom with roll top bath and seperate shower. This apartment is really central - just a couple of minutes from the cliff lift ( we hired a beach hut which I'd recommend doing if you intend to spend time down at the beach), and within very easy reach of town. It has great views ( the sea from the bay windows in the lounge and a bedroom, and of the abbey ruins from the kitchen), and was lovely and quiet. It comes with a parking permit for the West Cliff car park which is just a stones throw away. It has pacious bedrooms and open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area. A great place to come

Lovely airy flat, comfortable bed, great location. Rather perturbed by comments in guest book about faulty fire alarm & shower which still had not been rectified, some guests making repairs to toilet during their stay. First time we used oven, fire alarm went off & neighbour banged on door wondering what we were doing to set it off. Subsequent use of oven involved leaving window wide open. Shower head had been reported faulty before but still not replaced so we bought our own to use. Told towels not included only to find them supplied. No instructions on how to switch on shower or gas fire. Hair dryer in our room heated up but fan had seized. Luckily one in other room worked. Little things that could easily be rectified add up to spoil your stay. Very disappointed as flat very comfortable otherwise. Booked with previous agency that property is no longer linked to.

This is a lovely apartment, we stayed for a week my husband and our two grown up children. Plenty of space to relax and a short walk to the beach and town centre. The apartment has two good sized doubles and a small single room. The open plan lounge kitchen diner is a light comfortable room and great place to relax and watch the world go by. What would I add to this apartment, perhaps a dishwasher and more information about the apartment itself not just the appliances. But that does not distract from the lovely week we have had here in Whitby and I happily recommend this as a place to stay.
