Starre House is a 16th century manor house situated in the Devon seaside village of Beer, near Seaton. This cottage sleeps ten people in five bedrooms, consisting of one king-size double with en-suite free-standing bath, two doubles, a twin with pull-out bed and a ground floor single, as well as a bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen with breakfast area, dining room with woodburning stove and two sitting rooms, also with woodburning stoves. Outside there is off road parking for three cars and a lawned garden with furniture. Starre House is an ideal family base for a holiday exploring Devon and beyond.
The small fishing village of Beer is situated on the famous Jurassic Coast in south Devon. The village offers a shingle beach, caves, sloping streets lined with picturesque stone houses and cottages, shops, cafes and pubs.
Just outside the village is the popular Pecorama Gardens, and there are a host of attractions and interesting places to visit nearby, including Seaton and Sidmouth.
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
