The station view is a lovely property, and as the information file says 'an old cottage with quirks'
The advertisement states two bathrooms, which is stretching the truth a little, as actually there is a washroom with bath, shower and wash basin, then a separate toilet (with no hand washing facilities). So not really two bathrooms!
I think the 'Quirks' refer to the heating system, which except of the downstairs electric fires, you have absolutely no control over. The radiators come on very early in the morning, but by early evening are cold. With no way of switching them on or off. So the house is very warm in the morning and very cold at night. The only thing that pumps out heat constantly is the old arguer in the kitchen which becomes quite unbearable forcing you to have all the kitchen windows open, day and night even at the end of November!
Except for that this is a very nice property, clean comfortable and well presented.
One thing i must warn.... beware of the road (lane) leading to this house which is only a dirt track road with huge pot holes. Our car was damaged driving up to the house on arrival, when it plunged into a pot hole and scratched all the front bumper. Because of the state of this road it makes negotiating the drive an art, that you only master with practice!
