Great holiday and accommodation, we will definitely be back. The location was excellent, just a few minutes walk to a very friendly hotel where we could take our dog, and also a good base for travelling to other places for example Nairn Beach and Loch Ness. The scenery and wildlife are stunning.

This cottage was a perfect Valentine's getaway for my boyfriend and I. It was relatively easy to locate, even at night, and when we arrived the heating was turned on. All the amenities described were there, including extras. The cottage itself was very cosy, and the surrounding location had lots of walking paths and beautiful scenery. There were no issues with noise and it was lovely to be able to walk outside and see hills and farm areas. I absolutely loved this cottage and would highly recommend it to anyone.

We really enjoyed our holiday at this cosy, comfortable cottage. It had everything we needed and was in a very good location. Drumnadrochit has many amenities and there is a lot to do in the surrounding area. Local shops are within walking distance and the Loch Ness Inn, just 2 minutes walk away, served good food and had a nice atmosphere.

My family and I stayed in this cottage back in November of 2013. Everything was extremely welcoming and comfortable, and we couldn't have been happier with our experience. We are looking forward to our next trip to Loch Ness, and if it is available you can be sure we will be staying in this cottage once again.

We stayed in Stoneywood Cottage after getting married in Gretna Green. It is a wonderful cottage that is a perfect size for a small family. Well equipped and well decorated, it is also located perfectly for exploring the highlands and islands of Scotland. I cannot praise the cottage enough it was a thoroughly memorable week.

We really enjoyed this holiday. The cottage was beautiful, very clean and well maintained. The area is great as a base for many activities, and is situated in such a beautiful village. The owners were very attentive to detail. We have truly fallen in love with the Highlands, especially Loch Ness and we will definitely be bringing out two children back here again!

Just to say a huge thank you for this excellent cottage! The owners had left us a fantastic welcome pack of groceries and wood for the fire. A really nice touch. The cottage itself wanted for nothing, everything was in brand new condition, spotlessly clean and cosy.

Almost sat on Loch Ness, spotlessly clean, a great log burner that gives off heat! Very comfortable and the owners are very accommodating. The walks around the area are fantastic, we finally managed to tire our border collie dog out which was a first. Walk to garage for wood, co-op for food and pubs. Hope to return when its snowing, it was forecast but never arrive. Maybe we will be snowed in and have to extend the stay. Perfect!

My family and I absolutely loved this cottage. This cottage is full of that amazing Scottish charm with everything provided for your stay. There is a local supermarket round the corner for all your supplies. Great location and centrally located for self drive tours in all directions. Loch Ness is a couple of mins drive as is Urquhart Castle. Inverness is only 20mins drive. Loch Ness exhibition centre is 2 mins up the road.. Surrounded by absolutely amazing scenery.. We will definitely be booking this cottage again when we are next in Scotland :-)

We booked this cottage at the last minute. The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The location is great, especially the walk down the lane over to the edge of Loch Ness. We have 2 children, 7 and 15, both loved it too.

A lovely cottage in a peaceful and relaxing village. Good amenities nearby and a great base for exploring the Highlands. So chilled you really do get to relax away from the hussle and bussle of life.
