The cottage sleeps eleven people and has two double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, and two family rooms, one with a double bed and two singles, one with a double bed and a single, a bathroom, a fitted kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with a balcony and lovely sea views. Outside the cottage benefits from ample off road parking and a shared front lawned garden with furniture and a BBQ. With the coast close by and the opportunity to spot whales in the water, Stranacorcoragh is the perfect setting for a memorable holiday in Ireland.
Derrybeg is a seaside village on County Donegal's scenic west coast, in one of Ireland's "gaeltacht" regions. There are wonderful sandy beaches here, a lovely coastline and several pubs and restaurants. Nearby Glenveagh National Park is well worth a visit, while Letterkenny and Donegal towns are within easy reach.
The West of Ireland conjures up many images: thatched, whitewashed cottages, a flock of sheep on a narrow road, an emerald green field with a stone wall, or the Atlantic waves crashing into towering cliffs and rocky shores.
