This charming Victorian property overlooks the sunken garden and pond, said to have been designed by Capability Brown. Set on the owners private estate it is surrounded by parkland where golf fishing and horse riding are all available. St Asaph which is famous for its tiny cathedral, shops, inns and award winning restaurants, just 2 miles away. Situated midway between Chester and Llandudno. Just 6 miles to sandy beach and easy drive to Snowdonia National Park. Shop and pub 2 miles.

All on ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen. 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 bunk. Shower room with toilet.

First £10 elec heaters and elec inc, remainder by £1 coin meter. Bed linen inc. Cot. DVD. Stereo/CD. Elec cooker. M/wave. D/washer. Freezer. Large sunken garden. Parking (2 cars). Friday to Friday. NB: There are drops in the garden (as shown in photograph) and an unfenced pond 75 yards away.

We were looking for a quiet spot where we could spend a laid-back week in a lovely part of Wales and the Summerhouse at Llanerch fitted the bill well. It is not luxuriously appointed (to some extent, if it were it would detract from the bygone associations). It nevertheless provided us with comfortable accommodation and the landscaped setting of the place is unique. The welcoming flowers and bottle of wine were much appreciated. On a minor level, we would mention only the absence of spare toilet rolls and the fact that some lights were without bulbs or couldn’t be made to work. Oh yes - pity about the electricity slot meter!

The Summer House is ideal for visiting North Wales, it is located near the main access routes for tourist attractions. We loved it. The house could do with a little T.L.C. but we will think about visiting again.

Set in rural surroundings the Summer House is ideal for a peaceful relaxed holiday. However as their are no eating places or pubs in walking distance transport is essential if this is required.
