Spacious, comfortable accommodation which was well equipped, and with a warm friendly welcome. In a beautiful tranquil setting convenient for trips to the coast and local attractions.

The Cottage was lovely, cosy, comfortable with a warming fireplace. The setting of the cottage is beautiful in the countryside of Cellan. You get to wake up to a beautiful greenery valley view. My daughter loved the garden and the kids play activity available like the swing, slide and sand play. I particularly loved the basketball.

We have just returned from our 2nd visit to this fabulous cottage and 3rd year running to this area of Wales. The cottage is still as good as it was in last years review being one of the best we have stayed in and great value. Sparky and the kids got to play with there old friends Bob and Spot. This year the weather was perfect for us apart from packing up today when it was pouring down,so managed to get out and about in Aberystwyth Aberaeron and New Quay beaches a visit to the National Show Caves and a trip to the Devils Bridge Falls catching the steam train to Aberystwyth also taking in the Waterfalls at Devils Bridge ( need to be fit for these so left Mom and Dad in the cafe at the top) these were all within an hr or so of the cottage. Thanks for letting us stay sure we will return soon.

Gorgeous setting and cottage, well equipped and very clean. Owners were extremely welcoming and they were brilliant with the kids, letting them help out on the farm, nothing was too much trouble. Had a lovely welcome basket of goodies when we arrived. Best cottage we've booked with you so far.

Just had a week at this cottage with my partner, his Mum, a 13 year old boy and our little dog. We all loved it. The basketball hoop was a great touch. The cottage is clean, fresh and has everything you could possibly need. The log fire was lovely. The scenery is amazing and it is so peaceful. The owners were very helpful and friendly even lending us their binoculars for our dolphin spotting trip in New Quay. The welcome pack was a lovely gesture and very much appreciated. The resident dogs Spot and Bob are very friendly, so much so, our little dog who is often intimidated by bigger dogs actually got on really well with them. I can't fault this place. We visited Aberystwyth, Aberaron and New Quay. New Quay was our favourite. The photos we had seen of the cottage prior to our visit did not do it justice. It is gorgeous. You would be a fool not to stay here.

This was a beautiful cottage to stay in and one week certainly was not long enough! Geraint, Iona and the dogs Bob and Spot were all lovely and welcoming. My partner and I went for a week break and I couldn't have wished for anything better. We are hoping to take our children there with us next time as soon as we have dates that suit and I'm already looking forward to it!

We have rented many cottages in Wales over the years and this must be one of the best. Very cosy sleeping 4 adults 2 kids and our dog. Spotlessly clean and welcoming on arrival lovely bedrooms and bathroom. Plenty of space and seating in the living room with a small unexpected welcome pack. Arranged a Tesco shop to be delivered on arrival which worked a treat. Close too many beaches which we have visited on the sunny days and relaxed on the not so sunny ones. Friendly owners and even more friendly dogs called Spot and Bob who Sparky and the kids loved playing with.

Just returned from a wonderful week in this fantastic cottage. Total luxury with a four poster bed and huge jacuzzi bath. Owners very welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. Lovely welcome pack provided as well. Has decked area to front of property and also area further over with play equipment for children. Iona very helpful with areas to walk our dog. The property does not have an enclosed yard or garden. Lovely beaches a short drive away but I understand these do not allow dogs in high season. Bob and Spot the farm dogs roam freely to the front of the cottage during the day and were very friendly. Possibly this would not suit non dog loving visitors. Highly recommended and great value. Hope to return next year!

We have just returned from a great week at Tangaer Cottage, if you want to explore this part of Wales we have no hesitation in recommending staying here. Our children loved to see the dogs, sheep and chickens on the farm, and to play in the garden. (The grown ups liked playing basketball!) Very comfortable accommodation, felt like a home away from home.

Exceptional cottage in every way with so many little extras provided. Furnishings, bedding, cooking facilities all of high quality. Welcome pack provided with wine was a lovely thought. Utility room with extra toilet very handy. Stunning views of the countryside and hills. The owners made us feel so welcome they gave us advice & tips of where to visit and eat, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Excellant accommodation with high standards throughout. Have had many fantastic stays once or twice a year and thorougly enjoy ourselves every time. We always have a very warm welcome from Geraint and Iona who are always very helpful and do their utmost to make our stay so special. The surroundings are picturesque and very peaceful, giving a very relaxing environment. There are plenty of walks and the cottage is very central for visiting other parts of Wales especially the beautiful Cardigan Coast. Lampeter is just a short drive away with shops and restaurants. We cannot fault anything and will certainly return for many more enjoyable holidays.
