Situated in a quiet rural area with wild flower hedgerows in spring/early summer it offers tranquillity with panoramic views over Dartmoor. Each property is individually designed well furnished and equipped and has its own entrance. Ideal for couples or small groups wanting to holiday together yet still retain some independence. Within 3 miles of Tavistock which has farmers markets weekly craft and pannier markets and shops. Close to the Tamar Valley which in 2006 was designated as part of a World Heritage Site with its mining history portrayed at the living museum of Morwellham Quay travel through the valley by boat or train. Within easy reach of Dartmoor for horse riding walking the hobby of letter boxing rugged scenery and quiet valleys. Other attractions include 3 gardens that have been featured on TV within 8 miles. Further afield is Plymouth with its maritime history and larger stores. North Cornwall and The Eden Project are a 1 hour drive away. Outside: Large shared enclosed garden area with driveway. Amenities: ample parking outside the property. Bed linen towels wifi and electric included. No smoking in the properties. Regret no pets. Secure storage for cycles. Additional info: short breaks welcome. Guests are welcome to bring their own travel cot however regret no children over 6 months. Location: fishing 0.5 mile pub walking distance shop 2 miles swimming/golf 3 miles riding 5 miles. Local hotel for evening meals 5 minutes walk and several recommended pubs within 5 mile. On the first floor with its own entrance up some external granite steps and offers ONE double bedroom. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Lounge/diner: large beamed room with electric fire TV DVD Freeview hi-fi and views across to the moors. Kitchen: with fridge/freezer washing machine microwave and electric cooker. Outside: private raised patio/sitting area with garden furniture. Amenities: night storage heating included (from October to March there is a heating supplement of 25 per week payable to owner on arrival).
