This large detached farmhouse is at the end of a quiet lane serving a tiny hill-top hamlet of 3 houses, with restored old farm buildings and pigeonnier which overlook woods, orchards and rough meadows. Durfort-Lacapelette with restaurant, tennis and small supermarket 5 minutes' drive. Wider choice of shops, supermarkets, bike hire at Moissac 10-min drive with its lovely abbey church cloister. Riding at Lauzerte, also at St Nicolas-de-la-Grave, with its large swimming lake/leisure park and windsurfing. 9 hole golf course at Espalais and Castelnau-Montratier, each 30 min drive. Visit Montauban, 35-min drive with attractive rose-pink brick buildings and fine view of the Tarn river from the 14th-century bridge. Explore the gorges of the Aveyron river, St Antonin-Noble-Val for canoeing, and the lovely hill-top medieval villages of Bruniquel and Cordes.
