Just 500 yards from the seafront and beach, situated opposite a leafy park with a view to Torre Abbey and a glimpse of sea from the side window. It is furnished to a very good standard and belongs to a very well known, best selling author and is also close to where Agatha Christie wrote many of her famous novels. It is perfectly situated to make the most of the area, 5 minutes to sea front, 3 minutes to Torquay station and a pleasant 10 minute stroll through Torre Abbey gardens and park beyond to reach the picturesque harbour, Princess theatre, shops, cafes and restaurants. The Living Coasts Zoo and Aquarium where penguins roam freely, is there too, and just a short drive or bus ride is Babbacombe Model Village, Bygones and Kent’s Cavern. By day or night there are fantastic panoramic views from the Rock Walk behind Torquay promenade. Gaze down on the vibrant harbour life, across the bay towards Paignton and Brixham, or further inland as far afield as Dartmoor on a clear day. Rock Walk provides the perfect viewpoint for annual events including the Red Arrows, firework displays and sailing events throughout the year. You can join the South West Coastal Path, which is around 5 minutes’ walk away, and take in the fantastic scenery. There are also many National Trust properties close by. Beach 500 yards.
