The cottage was in a beautiful area, tucked away and just what we expected. It a charming and rustic. An ideal get away from it all.

The location was good as it gave good access to local points of interest and towns for shopping. It was convenient for us as it allowed us to visit friends and family who live in the surrounding area. The owner of the property, Mr Havers was very pleasant and helpful.

The Arch is in an idyllic location set in a peaceful and picturesque valley. The accommodation is cosy and unique with a lot of atmosphere, wood and stone floors, real fires and exposed beams. Lots of interesting places to visit nearby, we enjoyed Chirk castle and viaduct and the waterfall at Pistyll Rhaeadr.

The serenity and tranquillity of the surrounding countryside was relaxing. The cottage itself was quirky and furnished in keeping with its character. The view from the bedroom each morning was delightful and the terrace in the evening was an excellent place to sit. The owner was extremely helpful while being discreet. The location of the cottage allowed easy access over the border into Wales and the proximity to Oswestry made life very easy. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone seeking peace and quiet.

The Arch was indeed quiet and away from the world as promised in the details, just what was required. Our host was extremely helpful and hospitable. The area is wonderful and only a couple of miles from shops etc. if needed. The location is also very good when journeying to places of interest. We will be going back in the near future and whenever a quiet break is required.

The building is a beautiful stone built cottage and the owner has worked very hard to make it look Gothic and no expense has been spared. Although the cottage and garden is very close to the main house, you still feel like you have privacy and with a log burner outside, seating area under the eaves and the sound of the buzzards flying over head you soon get the feeling of peace and tranquility. This is a wonderful little place, a true gem hidden in the countryside.

The location was spectacular but in an understated way, if that makes sense, with a natural garden.

The Arch was a very good place to stay if you wanted a quiet secluded area. Pant Glas is situated in some beautiful countryside, and in easy reach of quite a number of well known land marks and towns. Llangollen is a particular favourite of ours as well as being close to Snowdonia National Park which again was spectacular. The best thing about being in The Arch compared to other one bedroomed properties was the actual space we had; the rooms were quite spacious.

A beautiful, peaceful situation and a lovely character cottage in a delightful garden. Couldn't have been more picturesque and comfortable. Owner in nearby house very helpful. Well placed to walk sections of Offa's Dyke footpath. Perhaps the nicest cottage we have ever stayed in.

The Arch is quaint and quirky and very different from anything seen previously, but in a very acceptable way. In a lovely setting with a very nice view. The Arch has everything you need for a carefree holiday.

The Arch is a clever conversion from the original use. The Arch was a very good base from which to make day excursions and, additionally, we also found a number of good pubs and eating places within a 10 minute drive.

The property is secluded and peaceful - a perfect retreat. Loved the fact that you could sit in the wonderfully comfortable bed having a leisurely cup of tea each morning and look out across the paddocks and stream below. There is little light pollution so the night sky is captivating too. The Arch has a cosy intimate feel to it, quirky architectural details and interior furnishings that give it that boutique hotel feel, a mix of modern and antique/rustic charm. Fresh wild and garden flowers just added to the welcome feel along and the owner was charming and easy going. Myself and my husband had a lovely few days in this oasis of calm.
