The coast at Hornsea can be reached within 10-miles, where visitors will find many of its traditional amusements and its promenade. To amuse your children, why not spend a day exploring the wildlife centre at Hornsea Mere? York is a great place for a day out and is about an hour’s drive away. The Deep at Hull is one of the UK’s biggest aquariums and is well worth a visit and is about half an hour away. Beach 9½ miles. Shop 1½ miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
