The Brewhouse Pet-Friendly Cottage description

Holiday home
The Brewhouse is situated in the village of Quatford, near Bridgnorth. The cottage sleeps two people and has one twin bedroom (which can be a king-size double on request) with an en-suite shower room and an open plan living area with a fitted kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a double sofa bed. Outside the cottage benefits from off road parking for two cars, lockable bike storage and a front lawned garden with furniture. With many lovely walks and the pretty, medieval town of Ludlow nearby, The Brewhouse is a fantastic setting for your self-catering holiday.

Area
Bridgnorth is an interesting market town of two distinct halves separated by a red sandtone ridge - The High Town and the Low Town. The two halves are linked by meandering streets and steep steps, and the sheer funicular railway allows visitors to glimpse "the finest view in all my kingdom", as Charles I put it. There is a lively Saturday market which showcases the local fayre, and the River Severn which flows beneath the precipitous castle ruins offers many lovely walks. The steam and diesel engines of the Severn Valley Railway run between Bridgnorth and Kidderminster through pretty country stations. Bridgnorth is surrounded by an abundance of country parks, historic houses, interesting museums and chocolate box Shropshire villages, and also affords ease of access to the 10 museums of Ironbridge Gorge and the Royal Air Force Museum at Cosford. The vibrant destinations of Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Church Stretton are within easy reach, and the surrounding area offers its visitor superb walking and cycling opportunities.

Region
A E Houseman once wrote that Shropshire was "the quietest place under the sun" and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.

Myself, husband and dog Molly stayed in the Brewhouse from 3-10 May Its only small but has everything you need - I personally though don't think its suitable for 4 people. There are lovely views from the French doors and its a delight to sit out in the private garden. The water was always hot. We dined in the Danery and it was fantastic! The Brewhouse is in a very nice location with plenty to do and see.

I used to spend my childhood in Quatford & decided to go back to see how things are now, we stayed at The Brewhouse , just behind The Danery pub.it was a lovely place, it had everything you could ask for, lovely decor and all very clean.A fab fitted open plan kitchen with fridge and microwave and oven / lounge area with tv and sofa which doubled as a sofa bed .lovely twin bedroom and bathroom with a shower. We had our own garden area with patio tables and umbrella. When we woke in the morning we had a fantastic view of hills and trees and in the evening you could see the wild rabbits out on the hills. It was great being right next door to a pub, just pop along for a perfect cold pint!.

Very nicely fitted out holiday let, in a good location with excellent food and service in the owners pub next door. We were even allowed to take our dog into the bar which we appreciated.

The Brewhouse was a lovely place to stay and had everything that we needed. Also handy for getting out and about by car or on foot. We will be returning next year.

The cottage being just two rooms we were impressed that it had everything we needed it was very well thought out, with practical but high quality furniture. It was clean and fresh. A dog bowl and towel was supplied, as we took are small dog with us. If there was anything we needed all we had to do is ask.

The view from The Brewhouse was lovely. It was very private when sitting out in the garden. Huge bed and lovely bathroom. Friendly owners but not at all intrusive.

Lovely location, so quiet and secluded. If you wanted to eat out it was a very little walk round to the pub and the food is excellent. Property is lovely, fresh and beautifully decorated, a bit like a boutique hotel. We would stay again!
