Liked the size of the property and garden for a large party of varying ages. And of course the fab' views, friendly locals and easy access to local towns and walks.

This is a very large cottage with 3 bedrooms downstairs and two upstairs sleeping a total of 10 people. There are 3 bathrooms (one is an en suite wet room), lounge and a large kitchen diner with a utility room. The owner is very friendly, views are amazing. Be aware that the cottage needs a bit of work doing: there are holes in the walls in a couple of places, a coat of paint wouldn't go amiss and there are cables (electrical?) hanging out of the walls in numerous places. There are lovely velum style windows in the upstairs bedrooms but they don't have blinds making it very difficult to sleep in these rooms. It's also not the cleanest place we've ever stayed, lots of cobwebs, dust bunnies, dirty floors and we even found clothing belonging to other people down the side of a chair - not hard to spot, we only glanced to make sure nothing of ours had slipped down there, surely it would have been found if the floors had been properly cleaned!?? The snooker /pool table in the hallway is a 1/4 size table at best. The two cues provided were broken, see photos. One was taped in the middle and both had damaged tips. The garden is large and there is a gate across the driveway. Unfortunately there is also a large pile of gravel and a bit of rubbish, paint tins etc. The neighbours dogs don't mind that though and like to visit several times a day to do their business.
