We had an excellent holiday in this beautiful 'home from home.' The location was perfect for us with amenities very close by. We did a lovely walk around 'The Litton Loop' straight from the door. The kitchen was well equipped, all of the bedrooms were huge and the wardrobe room was wonderful for hanging space. It was beautifully furnished and with everything you need, I would recommend this place to anybody. The owner was also extremely helpful with answering all of my questions before we went. Full marks!

The rooms were very spacious and had very comfortable beds. The cottage was warm, quiet and equipped with everything we could possibly need, including indoor entertainment options local tourist guides. The cottage location in the centre of the Peak District National Park made for easy access to so many attractive towns, villages scenic areas for walks. All of this made for a very relaxing stay, and there was ample space for our family gathering of 3 generations.

The size of this property is perfect for the number of people it is advertised for and it is in an excellent location for the Peak District. The heating was already on when we arrived so it was really cosy as soon as we walked through the door. Instructions for access were easy to follow and spot on. There was everything in the cottage that anyone would need including some excellent DVDs and board games which were really useful as it rained all weekend. The beds were very comfortable and very clean also plenty of towels were supplied and tea towels in the kitchen. The view of the church is lovely and the little square where the cottage is located is quaint. The amenities in the village are good for a village location and there are nice pubs and cafes for eating out.

Lovely spacious and well equipped property. The kitchen had everything you could think of. Very comfortable and warm with plenty of hot water. Comfortable beds, seating and nicely furnished. Tideswell is a charming little town and everyone was particularly friendly and helpful, advising us of walks and events locally. I recommend the shop across the road for almond and chocolate croissants.

Lovely village right outside of your door. Owners left us lots of extras including cakes, wine, crackers, milk, etc. Property was dressed lovely for Christmas with tree and lovely fire places. Its a magical place for the family to get together, and it was perfect having a downstairs bedroom and shower room for my dad with mobility problems.

Very well equipped house centrally placed in the village and within the Peak District. We found the shops in the village very useful and tried out many of the local foods on offer. The people were very friendly and helpful.

Just back from a long weekend in The Cottage. It's actually not a cottage but a four bed, two bathroom house. In fact five bed, if you count the huge 'wardrobe room' allocated for a baby. It's rare these days to find anywhere so carefully and thoughtfully set out. The little things like providing salt and pepper, washing up liquid, stuff for the washing machine and dishwasher etc you don't have to bother. Amazingly equipped- everything you could possibly want by way of kitchen facilities. Towels, soap, clean linen... the list goes on. Lovely huge sitting/dining room with log burner. Situated right in the centre of Tideswell so perfect for visiting sights or walking/cycling. In the same block as the co op so no worries about running out of anything. Only one word of caution, bell ringing pactice on a Friday evening and Sunday bells at 10am. Co op delivery at 9am Monday. Bring earplugs if you want a lie in or don't sleep at the front of the house, especially in the downstairs bedroom. But that's not nothing to do wih the property- just a hint for prospective renters. All in all, great value (there were 6 of us). Many thanks to the owners.
