My family and I enjoyed the area where the cottage was, with easy access to other towns and villages .We had an enjoyable stay and so we will be booking the cottage again in the near future with it being ideal for my father who is disabled .

The cottage was warm and cosy, important as the weather was poor.

This was an excellent property. The Bonus of the Freeview TV and internet were very valuable. I would definitely consider this property again and thoroughly recommend it to others.

Arrived at this property to HUGE disappointment. The first thing was there is no view, no garden. The kitchen had no room to put groceries. The floor covering was lino throught the whole place. Very unwelcoming. Not even a bottle of milk. The main bedroom has a tiny single wardrobe no way near big enough for two winter coats, let alone a weeks worth of clothing. The towels were supposed to be white but looked like they had been washed with something dark and looked a grubby grey colour. The twin room had bed linen which had not been ironed with grubby looking towels. Slightly bigger wardrobe, but again no where near enough storage. There were no rugs to stand on when you get out of bed. Very sparce furniture. We walked straight out and went back home. We booked this at the very last minute as we had our original character cottage cancelled due to a problem. Sykes tried to find us an alternative but this was the only place available at such short notice. Please think carefully before booking.

Better than expected! Spotlessly clean, lovely furnishings, great views and the owner was a real gentleman!
