THE GRANARY description

The Granary is a spacious detached barn conversion which is an ideal holiday home for couples. It is situated adjacent to the owner’s home, on a working dairy farm and in a quiet rural location on the Devon/Cornwall border. A welcome pack is provided on arrival, which includes a cream tea and half a dozen local, free range eggs. The cottage has a garden area and open paddock to the rear with far reaching countryside views; much wildlife can be viewed from here including owls and many other native woodland birds, deer and foxes. This property is ideal for those outdoor types, who will appreciate the proximity to the Dartmoor National Park and the Tamar Valley (AONB), a World Heritage Site celebrating the Cornish mining heritage. There are several National Trust properties in the local area or for the more adventurous, Tamar Trails, just a 5-minute drive offers tree surfing as well as a super woodland walking trail, bike hire and cycle tracks. Golf and horse riding nearby. Shop 3 miles, pub ½ mile and restaurant 1 mile.
