Friendly, helpful owners. Handily placed to walk over the Long Mynd without driving. Very well equipped. Well set up for dog owners like ourselves. We very much enjoyed our stay and would go again.

We had a fantastic stay at The Granary. It was a fabulous base for any walk and attractions in and around Ironbridge, shopping in Shrewsbury etc. The property is dog friendly, we were allowed to put them in a paddock for a good run around whenever we liked and dry them off in the outdoor kennels. There's a fabulous pub just over a mile walk away which is also dog friendly. Brilliant. Definitely coming back to stay.

The place is fantastic. We loved it the moment we arrived and we definitely want to go again as soon as we can. The best part of the holiday was actually being able to enjoy the fantastic views from the cottage. The house is stunning, warm and cosy. The kids loved looking after the ginger cat who spent hours playing with them outside in the yard. They also loved the apartment and so did we, it felt like home.

The design, layout and quality of this barn conversion is top notch. Location on the western slopes of the Mynd make it ideal as a base for walking and two pubs in rhea rest village serve good food. The owners have thought of everything and are friendly and helpful. Everything is immaculate - I did not want to go out each day, it was so comfortable.

Everything was first class and well setup for dog owners. If you want the feeling of being in the country then this place is for you, If you want easy access and closeness to a town then you are in the wrong place. Shropshire has fantastic countryside and walks and this was the ideal spot to take advantage of it. Loved the local pubs and mountain biking around the Long Mynd. One minor downside as a dog owner [yougish puppy] was the proliferation of sheep, close control was needed in many areas as they roam free on the Mynd and surrounding fields.
