Outside there is a front patio area with furniture, BBQ and hill views. Covered parking for three cars and two dog kennels are also available. With wonderful walking country on the doorstep and delightful Shropshire towns and villages to discover, The Granary makes a great base for a year-round break.
Wentnor is a quiet village at the foot of the Long Mynd Hills, 6 miles from both Church Stretton and Bishops Castle. There is wonderful hill country in this area, ideal for lovely scenic walking, and area attractions include the Acton Scott Historic Working Farm, Stokesay Castle, Ironbridge Gorge and many towns and villages including Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Much Wenlock.
A E Houseman once wrote that Shropshire was "the quietest place under the sun" and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.
