The Granary Pet-Friendly Cottage description

Holiday home
The Granary is an 18th century barn that has been successfully converted into a spacious terraced holiday cottage in the centre of the village of Corris, near Machynlleth and can sleep eight people. The cottage is set over three floors and is ideal for two families as it has been successfully converted into two separate living apartments but also has the flexibility of being one house if preferred. On the ground floor the cottage has a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a bathroom and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area (seats 8) and sitting area (seats 5) and a hall and storage room for mountain bike storage. On the first floor there is a room with bunk beds and a kitchen with dining area (seats 4). On the second floor there is a double bedroom, a bathroom and a sitting room (seats 8). Outside there is off road parking in front of the cottage for one car, additional roadside parking and there is a village sitting area with benches and wooded hill views just 20 yards from the property. The Granary is a wonderful base for your holiday in Wales.

The historic town of Machynlleth is situated close to the southern tip of the Snowdonia National Park, amid the rolling hills of Mid Wales. The town layout retains the 19th Century clock tower as its centre, and the streets offer an interesting mix of cafes, pubs and shops, as well as the market held every Wednesday. There are two art galleries in the town, which is also home to the Museum of Modern Arts, Wales, which stages exhibitions, concerts and lectures. Just ten miles from the coast, Machynlleth is also ideally placed for taking advantage of superb walking, riding, fishing and rock climbing available in the area.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
