Me, my hubby, our toddler and the grandparents and their dog spent a week at this lovely rental. The rental is a very old cottage in the middle of narrow devon lanes, far away from anything, so it was heaven to have peace and quiet, all we could hear was the birds and sheep. The cottage is well laid out, with a good sized kitchen full of allsorts of cutlery, crockery, pans and utensils, with a table next to it, and a big sitting room. We were given some cakes and a few essentials i.e. tea and coffee when we arrive which was a nice touch. The owners and the gentleman who helps out, were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfy and clean. Just a note to dog owners, make sure you take a dog bed, as dogs are not allowed upstairs, i.e. not in bed with you, which was fine with us as it made a dog free space! I would definately stay here again. There was a play area for the kids which had a trampoline and slides and swings which was a bonus. For those that use Wifi on holiday, then this is a little slow, but that it what you get in the countryside, and who goes on holiday to spend time on the computer!!!
