The Lodge description

Nestled deep in the green and lush Cornish countryside, secluded but easily reached, this former farm building has been lovingly restored by the owners to provide accommodation to suit all tastes. The working farm, which has beef cattle and arable crops, is family owned and situated close to the beautiful south Cornish coastline, just minutes from Millandreath Beach with its beach café and sandy beach. The harbour and fishing town of Looe is very near, and a must for all. You can meander the streets and treat yourself to a pasty or enjoy fish and chips on the quayside as the day boats come in with the catch, much of which will be served in the local pubs and restaurant that evening, so treat yourself to an evening out in Looe. You can arrange a sea fishing trip from the harbour or a tranquil kayak excursion up the river to explore the creeks. The area is perfect to escape to but also good to tour Cornwall with many diverse attractions, both natural and man-made, from Bodmin Moor to the seafaring town of Fowey and the village of Lerryn on the River Fowey, the inspiration for Wind In The Willows, which has stunning river walks to Lanhydrock House and off road cycle trails through its ancient woodlands. If grand houses and gardens are of interest then Cornwall has plenty, from the Lost Gardens of Heligan to the renowned Eden Project, a marvel of regeneration and gardens, both tropical and temperate. Plymouth, with its historic Barbican waterfront, is a short drive away or you can catch a car or foot ferry close by for a day out in the ’city by the sea’ with its historic Hoe, local shopping and theatre. Surfing, golf, horse riding and cycling are all available locally. Beach 1 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.Nestled deep in the green and lush Cornish countryside, secluded but easily reached, these two former farm buildings (Refs.
