The Lookout is a charming, semi-detached cottage, set in an elevated position in Ironbridge, half a mile from the centre, down a steep, secluded lane. With one king-size double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, the property can accommodate two people. There is also a kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area, while outside is a steeply terraced patio with furniture. You can pull up at the top of the lane to load and unload the car, then find a spot to park in one of the local car parks, the nearest being just 300 yards away. The owner will provide a parking permit for these car parks and will leave it in the kitchen ready for your arrival. The Lookout is a lovely romantic retreat for enjoying this beautiful area of Shropshire.
Ironbridge Gorge is known throughout the world as the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution and is a now a maze of footpaths and country lanes whilst the delightful village is famous for being home of the world's first iron-built bridge. The village has a splendid variety of pubs, restaurants, shops and tea rooms and a collection of ten museums. Ironbridge is a wonderful base from which to explore the beautiful county of Shropshire.
