A Grade II listed terraced property which has been sympathetically converted retaining its character. It is situated in the attractive market town of Loddon, with its marina (from where a river boat can be hired for the day), and impressive 15th-century parish church. There are miles of local footpaths, including The Wherryman Way. This is a perfect base for exploring the myriad attractions of Norfolk and Suffolk. Visitors can find boat hire on the River Chet, as well as fishing and riverside walks, ducks to feed, inns, shops and a gastro pub nearby. Quiet lanes and footpaths offer excellent walking and cycling opportunities, and the undulating quiet road network is a well-known route for local road cycling clubs.
Within easy reach are the fine sandy beaches of the Norfolk and Suffolk coasts which are a must for family days out. As are Fritton Lake Country Park, 11 miles, and Pleasurewood Hills at Lowestoft, 17 miles. Somerleyton Hall and Gardens are 11 miles away, also close by is the market town of Beccles, 11 miles, and The Reedham ferry, 8 miles, gives a direct link across the river. Wroxham, 23 miles, the capital of the Broads, offers boat trips and BeWILDerwood, Norfolk’s tree top attraction, which is a must for children. There are craft centres, market towns with antique shops and local produce stores, and the medieval city of Norwich, 13 miles, with its castle, cathedral, cinemas, ten pin bowling and excellent shopping an easy drive. Beach 17 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.Ground Floor:
