Built into a steep chalk slope this little cottage has been beautifully restored. Incredibly cosy, charming and packed with character, nooks and crannies. Period furniture and furnishings add to the charm. Well equipped kitchen. The lounge with the wood burning stove is just so cosy and relaxing you can't fail to fall in love with this place. Good TV, DVD, AND Sky. Underfloor heating keeps the kitchen and bathrooms warm whilst retaining the clay tiles. Small garden with views across the valley and farm. The local pub The Oak is 5 mins walk. Warm and welcome with lovely home cooked food sourced locally. My steak came from the farm opposite and was amazing. Struggling to find anything negative. Oh except the single bed. Incredibly hard and uncomfortable. The double bed upstairs the exact opposite, beautifully comfortable.
