Built into a steep chalk slope this little cottage has been beautifully restored. Incredibly cosy, charming and packed with character, nooks and crannies. Period furniture and furnishings add to the charm. Well equipped kitchen. The lounge with the wood burning stove is just so cosy and relaxing you can't fail to fall in love with this place. Good TV, DVD, AND Sky. Underfloor heating keeps the kitchen and bathrooms warm whilst retaining the clay tiles. Small garden with views across the valley and farm. The local pub The Oak is 5 mins walk. Warm and welcome with lovely home cooked food sourced locally. My steak came from the farm opposite and was amazing. Struggling to find anything negative. Oh except the single bed. Incredibly hard and uncomfortable. The double bed upstairs the exact opposite, beautifully comfortable.

A lovely little cottage in a very nice peaceful location - perfect for what we wanted.

A beautiful olde worlde cottage with plenty of storage space, deceptively so in the kitchen. It is well placed to explore the Jurassic coast and also inland. Would recommend this cottage for a family of three. Just perfect.

A fantastic cottage which more then lived up to its blurb. Dewlish is a place to turn up, switch off and soak in real country living for a week or six. To be surrounded by real working farms and people is a real tonic from the rat race and The Old Dairy fits in perfectly with this. We really did not want to leave.

We loved the peace and tranquillity of The Old Dairy. Lovely quiet village with almost no traffic, just tractors. Only Farm and birdlife sounds and within easy reach of coast. Wonderful just wonderful.

We stayed at the Old dairy for a week in May. The cottage has all mod cons and was a lovely place to come back to after a day exploring the Dorset countryside. Dewlish is a quaint village and the old dairy is located next to the road leading out of the village. There is only one negative I would say for the property, the car parking area. The shingled parking area is steeply angled and every time the car was driven out into the road from the old dairy or reversed into the area, the front of the car scraped on the road surface causing damage to the lower part of the car. The people in the farm directly opposite stated that this happens with everyone that stays at the old dairy. Would happily stay again at the old dairy if remedial work was carried out on the driveway access.

A semi detached cottage restored to a very high standard a couple of years ago. Easy to keep warm with part underfloor heating. The cottage was spotless with a fuelled Woodburner ready to go. A comfortable bed and two shower / toilet rooms. A compact dog proof garden was a good feature. Bags of character and hopefully we will return!
