If you love being in the countryside with the sounds of nature all around, this is the place for you. We adored our stay at The Mill. Yes we were spoilt with a week of sunshine and warmth, but not only that, as soon as you're in the Mill you feel de-stressed and relaxed. The accommodation on three floors works well. The gardens were a delight, our children had great fun building dams in the stream, playing pooh sticks off the bridge and ball games in the large grounds. The cottage is surrounded by fields, with sheep bleating in the distance and Red Kites soaring over head. Although you enjoy the feeling of being remote, you're only a short drive to the village. Here you'll find a good Spar for day to day shopping, along with a butchers, chemist etc.
100% we are going to go back to The Mill and stay. The area has lots to explore, some of the scenery is just beautiful. We had an action packed week of mountain walks, riverside walks, quad biking, retail therapy in local towns and even a trip to the seaside (Barmouth).
