The cottage is set entirely over the ground floor, though it does have some internal steps which may mean it is unsuitable for guests with mobility issues. There are two double rooms, one with an en-suite, and a twin room along with a family shower room. There is a well-equipped kitchen with dining area, and a sitting room with multi-fuel stove. This character property offers ample off road parking, a courtyard with furniture and shared use of the owner's lawned garden next door. The Old Post Office makes a great base for walking, golfing, and day trips to vibrant towns or sleepy villages.
Castlebar is rich in history and is also County Mayo's largest town by population. Centrally located, Castlebar enjoys access to the county's many attractions and is popular with shoppers from all over West Ireland. In addition, the town also boasts a variety of restaurants, pubs and other amenities, including the Royal Theatre and the 18-hole Castlebar Golf Club.
