The Old Sawmill is a first floor apartment by the river in Bakewell. The accommodation comprises of three double bedrooms, a shower room, an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area, and a mezzanine sitting area accessed via a spiral staircase. Outside is parking for two cars, and the river and amenities of the town are on the doorstep. From The Old Sawmill, Chatsworth House, Buxton and beyond are easily accessed, making this a wonderful base for couples or friends, whatever the time of year.

An attractive little market town retaining a delightful rural atmosphere and offering a good selection of shops, restaurants and pubs, as well as frequent local farmers' markets.

The ultimate in "year-round" appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.

A truly wonderful apartment overlooking the River Wye with its wildfowl and fish enhancing the scene outside, which is beautiful in all weathers. The furnishings were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Although you are very central, by night it is quiet apart from the sound of the water as it spills across the small weir that runs under the mill. We would happily return and recommend this lovely place to friends and family.

A lovely well furnished apartment in a great location. The apartment was clean, spacious, decorated to a high standard and within a one minute walk of Bakewell town centre. Overall we found this to be a great base for our holiday and a pleasure to return to each day.

The apartment is very central in a beautiful village. It is very comfortable and clean. The beds are that comfy you don't want to get up. There's a beautiful view from the lounge windows and it's only a two minute walk into the village. It isn't suitable for disabled people if they can't do stairs as it's on the first floor. We would certainly stay here again. There are a few things that would make it perfect... 1. A pint of milk would be a lovely extra, especially when travelling from afar 2. A better toaster with four slots as it's a real bind with only two especially if six people are staying 3. A list of important things eg local doctors, dentist, days bins go, recycling, etc is very important Another key would be great as if there are six people not everyone goes out together All in all though a lovely apartment and as we've said would love to come again
