This house was exceptional and we hope to visit regularly. The property has a fantastic host. Everything was perfect. The area is very serene and pretty for country walks and you are half an hour from some of the best beaches on the west coast. We cooked every evening and the patios were well set up for a BBQ.

A wonderful property in secluded part of Ireland with lovely views. The owners made sure that every comfort was made available to us and they were truly delightful to deal with. We'll surely be back.

A peaceful location and beautifully renovated property which was well equipped. We enjoyed the log fire and thought the owner was an excellent host.

This property is fantastic beautiful. There were ten of us staying here and we had plenty of room. The children loved it. It is situated on a lovely quiet road away from the hustle bustle, yet not far from The Burren, the beaches and the local village. It was very clean throughout. The kitchen has every appliance, the bedding/bedrooms were really nice cosy and all the bathrooms were in great condition. Would definitely recommend this property and will be going back to it myself in the very near future. Loved this place!

The cottage was in a beautiful location with a fantastic view and the peace and quiet could be felt, yet only five minutes drive to the shops and restaurants. The owner was there to greet and help. Fantastic location for the Burren and Ennis market town. We would recommend this house to anyone.

The Sanctuary is amazing and we would highly recommend it. It is very well equipped and we wanted for nothing. It's an excellent base for visiting the surrounding area and we cannot praise it enough. The owner was there to greet us and gave us the warmest welcome. The peace and quiet it offers after a busy day is wonderful, we would certainly stay again.

We stayed here for 3 nights in Feb 2016 and totally fell in love with the place. Pat was an excellent host, he met us nearby to help us navigate to the cottage and even provided some wine, cheese & crackers for weary travellers! Much appreciated. The place itself is beautifully renovated, and there is plenty of space. We loved having the fire (and a smart TV!), wifi worked brilliantly and so did the heating. The Sanctuary is a great base for exploring the local area but would also be a lovely place to hole up for several days and not need to venture out. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, we will definitely be returning!

We stayed here for the June bank holiday, it was the most beautiful houses, comfortable, beautiful decor, large comfy beds, best stocked kitchen for cooking, lovely outdoor seating areas for BBQ (it helped immensely that we were experiencing a heatwave this weekend). Half hour drive to Doolin Pier, Lahinch beach. There were 8 adults, 2 children and a pup and all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Pat was a wonderful host and left a nice welcome package for us.
