The Stable was an excellent place to stay and was clean and cosy. The log fire gave it a typical cottage feel and the hot tub was fantastic. The setting was idyllic, and from every angle there was a different breathtaking view. The sound of the stream was relaxing and it was lovely to hear the birds sing and nothing else! The owner made us extremely welcome and we will definitely be revisiting.! Everybody was friendly and the trip to the waterfall was a breathtaking memory to last forever.

This holiday let was the most stunning place to stay I have been to in the UK. The views are fantastic, peace and quiet. If you like a relaxing get away, with plenty of walking, then this is the place! Will we go back? Most certainly!! The couple who run the place are the most friendly and hospitable couple you could ever want to meet. This place is 1st class!!

We rented this property for a week in June this year. We have rented with Sykes before so I thought we would be ok. It was a very disappointing holiday to say the least. The directions to the property were not that good, a bit misleading. The property in my opinion is not suitable for people with children under the age of 6 as there are steep stairs in property. To be able to go anywhere you need to drive a fair way, down the mountain track and the very narrow road leading up to the property. The property when we booked it said it slept 5 since we returned it has been changed to sleeps 3. The wi-fi only worked in the bedroom as the router was in the other cottage

We stayed at the neighbouring property, Graig Las for a long weekend at the end of November for my partners birthday. After a long drive (from Manchester) and down many winding country roads, we were met by the owners of the properties. They were very welcoming and even remembered the reason ffor our visit and asked my partner if he liked his surprise! The cottage itself was perfect and very homely. 2 double bedrooms, the downstairs one having beautiful unbroken views of the countryside. Everything was provided...pots, pans, cutlery...even eggs, bacon and milk! It's location is quite a distance from local shops so it's advisable to take your shopping with you! Beautiful setting, lovely views and even a hot tub! Highly recommended

Not even sure where to start.... kate and alan are quite possibly some of the nicest peope we have ever had the pleasure of meeting! So helpful with everything to do in the area, even a stack of leaflets of local attractions which were all within excellent reach without too much travel. We arrived to fresh hen eggs and milk! The cottage itself was immaculate and so well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. the hot tub is fantastic, especially after climbing mount snowdon! The two local pubs are run by the same people and are fantastic! Great value for money, so friendly and welcoming. ... WARNING: food portions are GIGANTIC!!! Not that we are complaining! It was superb food! Very very busy for roast on sundays! I can't praise this place enough and can not wait to return. If you are a couple looking for a romantic break or a family looking for adventure and fabulous walks then this place is ideal. Really this place is for everyone and would urge anyone to stay and challenge anyone that wouldn't want to return! We are already looking at the calendar to book our next visit. Thank you kate and alan for a holiday to remember. See you again! Might even give that tree rope swing a go next time ;-)
