The Stamp Office is well located on the edge of central Hebden Bridge with shops, cinema and station within a five minute walk. The house is very clean and well equiped and the friendly owners are just next door. Nice welcome tray of fresh scones and a bottle of wine. Steep and narrow parking area is a little tricky for anything larger than a hatchback. We had a lovely week despite the weather as there is plenty to do in the area and we would definitely make a return visit.

The property was in a beautiful place - Hebden Bridge. Ideally situated for many walks and conveniently located for us to access all the facilities in the town. The property was well cared for and had everything we needed for a week's holiday for the four of us.

The house is spacious, comfortable and beautifully renovated. It's location in central Hebden Bridge couldn't be more convenient. The owners were friendly and helpful, yet very conscious about not intruding unless something was needed.

The house is in an ideal location for accessing the town of Hebden Bridge, the river and the canal. It is also easily accessible by public transport, being close to the railway station and not far from bus routes. It is therefore an excellent base for exploring the area.

An interesting and historic building which was very well restored and really good to stay in. The location made it ideal for us without car (near station, buses and shops) and meant we could access many wonderful walks round about and explore this fascinating town.

Excellent cottage, nicely furnished with great facilities. A welcome bottle of wine and chocolates were left for us, which was a nice touch. Owners were pleasant and helpful, pointing out local attractions. Cottage was in a great location for walking into Hebden Bridge or to the local Hardcastle Crags.

The cottage was great, we loved that the owners had kept some of the original features of the property. It was easy walking distance into the centre of Hebden Bridge. The owners were very friendly and helpful but only got involved as much as you wanted them to. We had an excellent weeks holiday there. We would go again, in summer the walking would be fantastic around that area.

The Stamp Office is in a great location only two minutes walk from the town centre, which has all you could want including a cinema. The accommodation is very clean and nicely furnished with everything to hand in the kitchen. We were left a lovely welcome tray with wine and freshly baked scones. The owners were very friendly and helpful, we will be back for a third time soon.

A lovely welcome with scones, milk, tea and even a bottle of wine. The Stamp Office has been well decorated with many original features kept and nothing was too much trouble for the owners who you hardly knew were there. All in all we had a lovely break and would return without hesitation.

The Stamp Office is a really, really comfortable and lovely place to stay. We were there for one month with our two kids (5 and 3) and loved it. The house itself was very comfortable with all of the mod-cons, plus of course it has a great history which you feel while there, and the town of Hebden Bridge is just great. The house is very close to the centre of town, only 1-2 minutes to shops, pubs, a cinema, and all of the wonderful things right in the heart of Hebden Bridge. It is also only 3-4 minutes from the station where you can get a train to Manchester or Leeds. There are views from most rooms which are very, very nice. The main sitting room downstairs is just beautiful and a lovely place to relax. One downside is that it is near the intersection of two main roads, which for us with kids of 3 and 5 meant we were a little nervous crossing roads to get into town. But, you realise you need to be careful and you are, and this potential downside is offset by the fact that you are so close to town and the train (and also bus stops to other places nearby like Haworth and Halifax). Without kids, this is no big deal at all, and means you are SO close to the centre of town which is very handy. Also, because the bedrooms are on the first floor, and because of the hills, there is very little noise in the house itself even though there is a bit of traffic on these roads. Our hosts were lovely people, and we had a great time here. Without doubt, it is a great spot to stay.

Lovely cottage with all modern facilities. Extremely comfortable & right in the centre of town. Off Road Parking immediately outside property, although on a slope is pretty straightforward. The friendly owners live next door & are really lovely to get on with. We stayed a week & found loads to do without moving the car at all. Lots of food outlets in easy walking distance & the town has a decent market a couple of times a week. Would definately stay again & have no hesitation in recommending. Really enjoyable place to stay.

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in The Stamp Office. From the owners calling me to make certain everything was fine for our arrival as they were away the day we arrived to the box of chocolates they couldn't have been nicer. The house is spacious and well equipped with very comfortable beds we felt very much at home. The house is well located for all the pleasures of Hebden Bridge without needing to use the car yet so close to some superb countryside, so the best of both worlds. The people in Hebden are very friendly offering advice on things to do we will certainly return. The Stamp Office looks popular from its web site so I have a feeling we will have to book early.

The stamp office is a lovely house near the centre of Hebden Bridge with everything we need. Two comfortable bedrooms, nice bathroom with good shower, two lips which always helps and a good sized well stocked kitchen and comfortable sitting room. If you want to escape your sister and brother-in-law watching East Enders, there's even another sitting room right at the top of the house with lovely views where you can go to relax. Hebden Bridge itself is full of interesting independent shops and cafes and there are lots of riverside, woodland or hill walks nearby in beautiful countryside. I thoroughly recommend this place for a great holiday.

We truly enjoyed our stay in the Stamp Office. It's a very nice cottage with all amenities needed such as a fully equipped kitchen, lovely bedrooms, clean bathroom and on-site car parking. There were lots of information leaflets, books and even toys for the children. Our 3 year old son and 8 year old daughter loved playing in the converted attic. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The cottage is within walking distance to the local park, shops and restaurant. We would definitely stay here again.
