This spacious and beautifully furnished, Grade II listed holiday cottage enjoys wonderful views towards Holy Island and is only 7 miles from the coast. Part of a conversion on a Victorian farm steading, retaining the superb stonework, and craftsmanship of the original yet creates a stylish base. Berwick-upon-Tweed offers restaurants, pubs and a theatre. Alnwick and Bamburgh Castles, coastal and hill walks, cycle routes, sea angling, fishing and boat trips, in easy reach. Newcastle and Edinburgh, within an hour’s drive. Shops 4 miles, pubs 600 yards.

The accommodation was tastefully furnished and overlooked the Northumberland countryside with Holy Island on the horizon.The patio was an excellent area for outdoor entertaining. The cottage is a good base for exploring the delights of Northumberland and the borders of Scotland.

Lovely cottage very comfortable with views to Holy Island very quiet & peaceful; owners very welcoming. Bamburgh Castle is a great place to visit the beach is lovely as is Wallington House & Gardens. It’s also worth a drive to Cragside.

Wonderfully appointed cottage, with amazing views. Somewhat isolated, but quiet and pretty. The accommodation was elegantly decorated, with lots of space and thoughtfully provided with everything one would wish. We loved it.

Spacious, well furnished accommodation. A lot of attention to detail. The general housekeeping of the whole development is excellent. 10 minute drive to Berwick for shops and a 10 minute walk to the Plough, nearest pub.

The cottage was lovely, it had a lot of space which was great. The location was good and within easy reach of Berwick and other beautiful locations such as Lindisfarne and Bamburgh.
