The Waterside offers a unique opportunity to holiday in a truly enviable position at a stunning cottage. The large living area on the first floor is the heart of the house with bi-folding doors onto a sunny decked area, a fantastic spot to soak up the sun or enjoy a lazy breakfast whilst taking in the sights of the passing boats. Just a short level walk from the centre of Appledore, one of the oldest and prettiest villages in North Devon, with its cobbled streets and a vast array of popular village pubs, restaurants, cafes, shops and the bustling quayside, there really is something to please everyone. Instow is on the opposite side of the estuary with its sandy beach, bars and restaurants, and the wide golden sandy beach of Westward Ho!, popular with surfers, is just 2 miles. Bideford, Exmoor, Clovelly and Hartland Quay are all close by, and the area is a must for water sports, sailing enthusiasts and fishermen, whilst walkers and cyclists will enjoy the famous Tarka Trail which passes close by. The young and old will enjoy crabbing off the quay, and golf and riding is available locally. For family fun, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way adventure parks are close by and don’t miss the annual Appledore Book Festival. Free mooring is available outside. Beach 1 mile.
