Tower View is a first floor apartment within the city of Chester, close to many shops, pubs, restaurants and attractions. This apartment sleeps two people and has one double bed, which can be made into two single beds, as well as a family bathroom. The apartment also has a fitted kitchen and a sitting room with dining area. To the outside of this cottage, there is a garage for one car and an additional off road parking space for one car. Tower View is a perfect holiday apartment to experience the delights of Chester and for visiting many attractions within the North West of England and North Wales.

Described by some as the 'the jewel of the North-West of England', Chester is a city with plenty to offer all ages and tastes. There is evidence of every period of history in just a small area of the city, and 21st century architecture sits alongside ancient Roman walls and an amphitheatre, medieval churches, Elizabethan timber-framed houses, handsome Georgian terraces, and Victorian restorations. The city is also renowned for its superb shopping in the famous 'Rows', and the picturesque walks to be discovered within the city boundaries – take a stroll along The Groves beside the River Dee, along the historic Roman Walls, or through the pretty Grosvenor Park. Venture out of Chester to discover the spectacular Welsh mountains and coastline, the golf courses of the nearby Wirral Peninsula, and the market towns and villages of Cheshire.

Super location with a park opposite and with pleasant short walk along the walls into the old town centre. The flat was overall well furnished and the entrance was particularly inviting. We had expected the railway line to be noisy but we were quite wrong and it was well-hidden by trees.

The apartment was in an excellent position close to the city walls and it was lovely to have our own garage. We felt we had open spaces because of the bowling green opposite. The heating was easy to control and the apartment was very warm and comfortable. Chester is a lovely city and having our own 'bolt hole' was much nicer than staying in a hotel.

The location in Chester was excellent and we were able to walk into the city as well as easily access shopping facilities in the surrounding area. The apartment was comfortable and well-equipped. There was much to interest us including the cathedral, the city itself as well as the zoo. There are also a number of interesting National Trust properties not too far away and well worth a visit.

The property is typically quiet and peaceful and the apartment is in a good position for exploring the city and local canals. There is good storage space in the bedroom wardrobes, and multiple BT FON WiFi sites were available, so internet access was no problem for us.

We have stayed here 14 times now and find it perfect for our needs to shop, chill and exercise our dog around the canal tow paths. When we came we put our car in the secure garage and were able to enjoy eating and drinking without the dangers of driving!

This place was perfect for accessing all of the points of interest in Chester. Also, getting in and out of the city was very easy via Sealand Road. The place was very comfortable, the bed was perfect and the living room was good for relaxing. The kitchen while small, was efficient and workable, I was able to cook my usual meals with no difficulty. We especially loved the little electric fireplace on chilly evenings. It was also handy having the washer on site so we didn't have to go looking for a laundrette.

The flat is in a perfect position for Chester Our first impression when we opened the door was the horrid smell of stale cigarette smoke. The flat is cosy and warm, the beds are really comfy and well appointed . But the lack of cleanliness was annoying, inside the microwave was splattered with food , food dried on jug, plates and cutlery, cooker top also had dried food on .hood thick in dust . Bedroom was fine apart from dried blood spots on the quilt cover. Next morning on preparing for a shower I unrolled the shower mat only to have my hands covered in brown gunge absolutely filthy,. My husband wiped the dinning table which turned the cloth black with dust ,photos of all these items taken and sent to Sykes cottages the managers. If the flat was smoke free and clean it would have been perfect, and we would stay again if the cleaning issues were resolved

As we take our dog on holiday in the UK this accommodation has suited myself and my wife for many holidays now with dog walks along the canal in 5 minutes and ,for ourselves close access to all of Chester's` many good shops and eateries within just 10minutes walk away. The Garage means our car is safely forgotten until required for the journey home without the fear of drinking and driving while enjoying ourselves.

The flat was well-furnished and well-equipped. Ideal for a winter's stay as it was well-heated and snug. Useful too to have a garage which made a useful utility room while leaving space for our estate car. The location was excellent, close to the City Wall and the canal. It overlooked a park and we weren't bothered by the railway line beyond. Chester is a fascinating city and we were within easy walking distance of the centre.

Tower View is just on the edge of the City of Chester, 10mins walk to town. The property has every facility for a home from home stay, a spacious modern property with car parking. Happy to recommend.

Our stay in the property in Chester, over the coldest Christmas in living memory, was great. The house was very warm and comfortable with everything we needed. We enjoyed Chester at Christmas too, with Cathedral services and walks along the wall, the canal and the river. We saw a fox in the snow by the river on Boxing Day and the great ice floes moving slowly downstream had to be seen to be believed.

Location excellent within walking distance of centre of Chester and racecourse. Average comfort. Glass coffee table wobbly and unsafe. Sofa very soft - no back support. Cushions would have helped. When we arrived - no toilet paper at all or cleaning material.Normally rentals pass on these items to each other. Vacuum useless having no pipe. Good sized apt for 2 people and one dog. However, Chester fantastic and holiday excellent.

The apartment was spacious, clean and well appointed though the kitchen was a little small if planning serious cooking. The availability of a garage was a real bonus. The apartment is on the first floor so that needs to be considered for anyone less mobile. It is located in a nice part of the city with a park opposite and a very pleasant 10-15 minute walk into the City Centre. We'd definitely stay there again.

Very convenient for centre and race course, also if you take a dog handy for canal towpath we had some lovely walks. Propert is smallish but ok for a couple and we were out most of the time. Only problem the smoke alarm kept going off when we cooked breakfast! You also need to beableto climb stairs as that is how you access the apartment.

Great location as it's within walking distance of the city centre and the race course. It was also very quiet. Although only accommodation for two people there was enough room to park two cars so our friends could visit without having to pay for parking. Well appointed with everything you could possibly need for your stay plus nice touches like candles, videos and books. Enjoyed watching the crown bowls and talking to the locals just across the road.
