Tranquility Cottage was the best cottage we have booked, and we have been with you several years. The cottage was spotless, there was a welcome tray and complimentary toiletries. The cottage had so much information on the area, restaurants, pubs, etc. The furnishings and bed linen were superb. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. All good quality utensils. This cottage should hold a gold award. Only problem is we want to return here and will probably find it fully booked!!!

The property was extremely quaint and wonderful evenings were spent around the log fire. The property was in a beautiful, well kept and very quiet village with not a sound at night! The local pub, ’The Sailors Return’ (also thatched and gorgeous!) provided really good food. The cottage was ideally located for fantastic walking and absolutely breathtaking views were had from the coastal walks. We all had a really good enjoyable walking, eating and relaxing week.

A very nice cottage in a pretty village - very handy for the coast and walking. Comfortable and warm. Very close to the road - which thankfully was quiet when we were there. Low ceilings - very rustic - I am 6’2" I did a lot of ducking and only banged my head the once!

A comfortable, quiet cottage with a big open fire place - perfect for a quiet post-Christmas break. The Christmas decorations and welcome tray were nice touches. Good location for exploring the surrounding area.

We live in thatched cottage and it was very obvious to us that the property had been renovated to an extremely high standard with finishing touches that would not normal be associated with a rental property.

This was probably the best equipped cottage I have stayed in so far. Would live to visit again but it seems to be fully booked for the rest of the year. will have to try again next year.

Property as described which was more than useful as we needed to know the layout including road outside property and size of garden for our dog. This fitted the bill perfectly.

Tranquillity Cottage lived up to its name, clean, tidy, cosy and quirky. Great open fire ideal for relaxing and having the odd glass of vino whilst playing cards or reading.

Excellent dog friendly pubs nearby, red lion in the village of Winfrith and the sailors return, an easy 1 mile walk away in the next village east Chaldon.

The cottage was perfect, just like an 17th century cottage should be. Welcoming, friendly and cosy, the perfect base to go exploring from.

Well equipped cottage, but wished we had been warned about the low beams and the shop not opening Saturday afternoon.
