After turning up almost three hours late, due to a technical problem with our people carrier. We were met by Mark, one of the owners, who made us feel very welcome. And after showing us around, and informing us, as to where everything was, left us to settle in and unpack. Mark returned later, and introduced us to his partner Linda, who gave us some fresh eggs, from their own hens, which we thought was very kind. The cottage itself was very well equipped, no cheap cutlery, pots and pans here, these were top quality, as was the fan assisted oven. Now i believe in giving honest reviews, so here are the bad points. There is no Sky t.v. as advertised, only Freeview. And the WiFi signal is very poor. The curtain tiebacks were falling to the floor due to incorrect positioning of the hooks, but that's a minor point, and we just removed the tiebacks for our stay, so not a problem to us. As it's a rural location the road outside is fairly quite, but can be a little noisy from the odd agricultural vehicle passing, but was quiet at night. So all in all, a very nice well equipped holiday cottage. We would all return again to this cottage, and recommend Ty'n CaE cottage to all.
