Driving west there is easy access to the popular town of Fuengirola (10 minutes) and, further on, are the must visit destinations of Marbella and Puerto Banus, with their exclusive restaurants and designer shops.
The coast is literally 1 KM away. Continue down the road past the apartment to access the beach at Carvajal, local shops, and Carvajal train station with regular trains to both Fuengirola, Malaga city, and the airport.
There are also local shops by the roundabout where you entered the urbanisation, which includes a Carrefour suparmarket, barsand restaurants. A km or so beyond this is a large Aldi supermarket. There is also a local train service that runs from the complex to the beach and is available all year round. This road train will take you from theshops/restaurants/supermarket at the top, go past the apartment, then the railway station (that connects with Malaga International Airport) and finally to the beach at Carjaval.
