Waterville Holiday Home description

This beautiful architecturally designed family holiday home is situated on the famous 'Ring of Kerry' on the 'Wild Atlantic Way' within a few minutes walk of Waterville Village in County Kerry. The house is situated in one of Ireland's most unblemished and picturesque areas with sea views of Ballinskellig Bay and the world famous golf links.

The house features 3 bedrooms (all en suite) & capacity to sleep eight people comfortably. The main bedroom has a king size bed plus bathroom en-suite, whilst the two other bedroom are slightly smaller but each features a double and a single bed plus shower en-suite. All bedrooms are situated at ground level with the receptions rooms located on the second floor to maximise the stunning views. The house is fully equipped with every modern convenience including Multi-Channel TV & WiFi.

Waterville is best known for its championship golf links, beautiful blue flag beaches , fishing, walking , cycling, plus lively pub scene and gourmet restaurants.

Fishing Holidays

Waterville lakes and river system Season Season - Salmon from 17th January to 30th September. Sea-Trout - 17th January to 12th October. Seatrout fly only 1st - 12th October This rivers and lakes of Waterville drain a large catchment and are regarded by many as the foremost Salmon and Sea-Trout fishery in the country. The lake system is well developed with access to boats and guides being readily available to the tourist angler. The Sea-Trout caught here are renowned for their size and quantity. Lough Currane This famous lake is on a spate river system and so water and weather conditions impact on fishing. There is an excellent network of angling guides and boat hire on this free fishery. Fair to good run of fish dependent on water. Sea trout Fair to good run of fish depending on water levels. The best times are from early June to September. Sea trout to over 10 lbs. (4.5 Kilos) recorded annually from this famous lake. Better numbers of specimen fish have been recorded in recent years and a good run of summer fish. Free fishing but a state licence is required for both salmon and sea trout. First Salmon of the Year caught on Lough Currane! Well known local professional Ghillie, Neil O’Shea caught the first Salmon of the 2016 season on Lough Currane yesterday. Not only was this the first for the Waterville Fishery but was also the first salmon caught in Ireland.
