The cottage was in a very good position, quiet despite being in the centre of the village. Lovely village with good facilities and within many tourist spots of North Yorkshire.

An excellent quiet location in a lovely village, central to visiting market towns, the coast, York and the Moors.

My wife and I, plus our 10 month old Bernese Mountain dog stayed here in April 2014 for 3 night. The cottage was lovely. All rooms are on the first floor which means that it is very light and also means nice views. The kitchen was quite small but adequately fitted out. Lounge, bedrooms, bathroom were all very clean and well fitted. The village of Hovingham has a lovely feel to it. Billy our dog loved it! Being able to walk out of the door onto a large green was great. Very little traffic away from the main road through the village. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend.
