In a fantastic location with incredible views from the cottage. It was a great base for exploring the Dales. We fit eight in comfortably and the cottage itself is quirky, cosy and wonderful. Perfect!

Lovely holiday cottage, very deceptive as bigger than it looks from the outside. Very warm and cosy. Very quiet and beautiful situation with stunning views.

The cottage was absolutely fantastic, well equipped, clean, and spacious. The views across the Nidd valley were incredible. We've rented many cottages in Nidderdale over the years, but this is definitely the best of them all.

Wickwoods has been well renovated and the use of both old and new works well.

The 2 kids loved playing in the garden seeing bats, hedgehogs and were very excited every time we had to drive through the herd of cows on the way in and out of the cottage. The views were stunning. The kitchen and living room were big enough to take 8 people without feeling on top of each other. There was lots of peace and quiet (once the kids had gone to bed, that is) Ages 7 to 70 all enjoyed themselves and loved the house.

The cottage was absolutely lovely and we wanted for nothing. The use of a land line was particularly appreciated as mobile signal was poor and car broke down on arrival. WiFi also a hit with other guests. The views were also amazing.

Cottage in a lovely rural setting with spectacular views from every window. We had poor weather during our visit very windy with lots of rain! Made returning to our cosy lounge all the more welcome.

We had a lovely long weekend in this cottage with other family members to celebrate a birthday. The cottage was well equipped, very "quirky" in the layout which we loved and very warm and cosy. A visit to the Dickensian Christmas market at nearby Grassington was a good day out as was a trip to nearby Brimham Rocks. The cottage is in a beautiful situation but would think it would be very difficult to get to in the snow.Also- we tried to have a Tesco delivery but failed as the driver just could not find the house and we didn't know the area well enough to direct her,so we had to swap the shopping from van to car in Pateley Bridge. I think however, even if they had found the cottage- they would have struggled to get the van up the approaching hill and negotiate a sharp right turn into the track. The only negative comment I could have is that although the cottage has 2 bathrooms, there is only 1 shower which with 8 adults is not ideal. Would love to go again in the summer

Wickwoods is fantastically situated, with a great view of the reservoir and secluded, just what we wanted. The stove was brilliant, it was even cosier when the we had to come back due to rain.
