The cottage was ideally located for our visit to Suffolk. The level of cleanliness and attention to detail for everyday requirements were excellent. The owners had left a much appreciated welcome package and instructions for all necessary appliances alongside a mobile phone for emergency contacts - could not ask for more! A dog friendly environment and secure outside area. I would recommend this cottage and would certainly return.

The thought and consideration taken in equipping and presenting this lovely cottage was exemplary. Gave a very relaxed atmosphere - our two dogs were immediately at home and that was how we felt too. It was great that two larger dogs were welcomed - something often lacking.

July 2012
We liked the fact that the cottage was very clean and cosy. We had a lovely plate with shortbread in the kitchen upon our arrival, perfect with a cuppa after the drive! Into the lounge and a lovely bottle of wine on the table with fresh flowers was a really nice touch. We enjoyed all the brochures in the cottage because we planned many days after reading through them. It was brilliant for us also to be able to bring our two small dogs. We love the fact that the cottage was pet friendly because our dogs loved all the new walks in Suffolk! We highly recommend Bryony Cottage and hopefully we can get back in the near future.

The cottage is set in beautiful countryside with easy access to the coast and many local sites of interest. Driving along the country lanes and through small villages with thatched cottages was very enjoyable as was buying the locally grown fruit and veg from the roadside. We enjoyed visiting Southwold, Aldeburgh, Lavenham and Bury St Edmunds.

Good layout and very homely feel to the property. Very good location for a quiet relaxing break. A bottle of wine and flowers on arrival was a lovely touch. Milk in the fridge was great as we arrived quite late. Kitchen was well stocked, didn't need to use most of the things we brought with us. A very enjoyable cottage with a warm mock 'coal' fire for when it was cold.

Walking into this very small well presented cottage was welcoming ,as wine and newspaper, tea tray set including biscuits, and milk and teabags.were waiting for us. The rooms were very clean and bed linen clean, and fresh, good heating, neighbours friendly..Negative things,The sitting room is quite dark. And door not at All soundproof ,every voice and sound heard easily, needs a reading lamp as low lighting, tv very small and impossible to read information on programs.A neighbours dog barks for odd times when owner out two doors away. But really excellent off road walks that go miles around the village

September 2010
Wild Bryony Cottage was a delightful cottage in which to stay. It had all that we needed and was well situated to visit all parts of Suffolk. It is in a quiet hamlet but not far from the nearest village and town where there were all the necessary shops and places to eat. All the local places had pubs which provided good food, and the local pub in the nearest village was a friendly place to stop and have something to eat, and served real ales. The local store sold locally baked bread delivered daily. The cottage was very clean with no obvious signs of dogs having stayed there. Fresh flowers were on the table along with a bottle of wine and a welcoming message, and tea and coffee were provided along with fresh milk in the fridge. The kitchen was tiny but had everything necessary for preparing and cooking meals as well as cutlery and plenty of crockery. The one thing I missed was having a dressing table in the bedroom which was spacious so there was room for one. We could hear the neighbours in the bedroom but only faintly, and a dog barked for about 1/2 hr every morning but then settled and was quiet. A place where we would happily return to.
