Willow House sits within easy reach of the south western Peak District, ( A walk passes across the property). The owners [Chris and arthur ) Live next door with there 3 dogs and were great hosts. The accomodation was clean and quaint with firniture which adds to the character. We had our dog with us and she also enjoyed the company and was made welcome (Even after chasing the chickens) Good Pub nearby with food and friendly. Nothing to dislike about this place, a great restfull break.

We wanted a dog friendly holiday and this was excellent. The cottage was warm, cosy and well equipped. It held lots of information on where to go whatever your interest, including dog friendly pubs. The cottage is hidden up the farm track away from the road and tucked away from sight. The scenery is beautiful and the outside patios are cobbled with plenty of seating to sit and enjoy the view. The owner was friendly, very kind and knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to others, would love to go back.

From the moment we arrived, the owner was one of the loveliest, kindest most helpful hosts I have ever met. Nothing was too much trouble. The cottage has some of the most spectacular views you could see and the cottage is a real hideaway, but close enough to amenities if you want them. A real gem. Would stay again without hesitation.
